Australia & New Zealand Basketball Scouts are pleased to announce two new partnerships in its continuing support of young basketball athletes in Australia.
Bobcats Basketball Club is a domestic club whose teams compete in Associations on the Peninsula, with over 100 teams playing in five domestic competitions.
Basketball X, a new venture in Seaford, set up with a dual purpose in mind:
- Provide an opportunity for all levels, age and gender to participate in a domestic style 3X3 competition – the first of its kind in Australia
- Give all basketballers the opportunity to achieve their goals by providing skills-based training, with the ultimate aim of providing athletes with a path to college in the US.
With these new partnerships, Australia & New Zealand Basketball Scouts continue with their successful history in assisting athletes, male and female in career pathways specifically in gaining college placements and appropriate scholarships in the US and Canada colleges/universities.
They have also been instrumental in grassroots scouting in Australia for the NBL ProCombine held each year for up and coming NBL hopefuls and have alliances with semipro/pro clubs into US and Europe.
Bobcats Basketball Club and Basketball X look forward to working with Australia & New Zealand Basketball Scouts to assist athletes with guidance to help them make informed decisions and provide suitable connections to achieve their goals.
