In 2020, as a bottom age U18 player Logan was buried deep on the bench with little prospect of contributing significant minutes. Through hard work, dedication and the physical growth seen in most late-bloomers, Logan came into the 2021 season as a completely different player.
Logan had always had a smooth offensive style and a silky stroke from 3, but last year he realized that he could start to dominate physically as he grew to 6’ 5” and filled out his frame in the gym. Logan’s offensive game became a “must-see” event. He continued to fill it up from outside with his effortless shooting form and began to punish defenders in the paint and especially above the rim. He has had some of the most ferocious dunks seen in New South Wales.
Logan’s improved strength and physical development also led to significant improvements on the defensive end of the court. Tracking opponents from behind and hunting down pin blocks against the backboard became a regular occurrence. His basketball IQ and work-ethic have developed hand in hand with his physical growth.
Don’t let the nice guy personality and agreeable demeanor fool you, Logan is a fierce competitor who seriously dislikes losing. Logan is exactly the type of long, athletic shooter/slasher/defender that the modern game demands. He will be a great asset for whichever program is lucky enough to land him.
